It’s ‘Turnbull’s Truffle Week’ at Turnbull's! 

Our butchery team have created 12 handmade truffles - each one packed with flavour and designed to make dinner quick, easy and seriously tasty.

If you’ve never had one before, think of them as a handmade stuffed meatball, packed with flavour and filled with incredible combinations.

Pop them in the oven for 20–25 minutes and dinner is done.

And for this week only:

Truffle of Temptation (Love it or Hate it)

A seasoned beef truffle flavoured with Marmite and cheddar, filled with Stilton, chorizo and caramelised onion.

How to cook the perfect truffle

Pop your truffles (in their oven-ready tray) onto a baking tray, cover loosely with foil and cook in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (170°C fan) for 15–20 minutes - this keeps the moisture in and lets all those flavours develop.

For the final 5–10 minutes, remove the foil to let the outside colour and crisp up.

Serve with seasonal vegetables, chips, wedges, salad or rice, depending on which ones you’re cooking.

Simple. Proper food. Minimal fuss.
