Homemade Northumbrian Haggis

Our Homemade Northumbrian Haggis. 

Our recipe dates back over 100 years when Bobby Turnbull was asked to if he sold Haggis in his shop.  Now, the recipe is in the 5th generation of the family and is created using only the finest ingredients. Including Northumbrian Lamb, oats and our secret blend of seasoning.

Cooking instructions

Bring a pan of water to the boil.

Place the Haggis in the boiling water, and turn the heat down to a simmer.

Allow the haggis to simmer for 50- 60 minutes (for a 500g Haggis).

Remove the Haggis from the casing.

Serve with neeps and tatties (mashed turnip and creamed potatoes) and Whisky Sauce or Gravy.
