British Beef Week
One of the nation’s favourite foodie weeks returns 23 – 30 April 2023, as we celebrate the 14th year of Great British Beef Week (GBBW) starting on St. Georges Day!
British Beef Week is our chance to encourage the nation to enjoy ‘naturally delicious’ Northumbrian Beef, particularly in one of our most iconic meat dishes – the Sunday beef roast.
The industry including farmers, butchers, farm shops, pubs and restaurants unite to recognise British beef farmers and highlight the work they do to support sustainable production practices on their farms.
This week we are stocking two of our favourite heritage breeds from Neil Gibson at Willowford Farm:
- Hereford
- Aberdeen Angus
- PLUS: our NEW Angus Beef Sausage with Wholegrain Mustard
